We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Oakdene Care Home. As a key member of our close-knit care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and wellbeing of our residents.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, assisting them with their daily routines and promoting independence.
- You will work closely with our Nurse and Clinical Deputy Manager to ensure each resident's personalized care plan is followed and implemented.
- You will maintain a safe and comfortable living environment, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells, and working collaboratively with housekeepers to ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
- You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, fostering positive relationships and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- SQA Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification preferred.
- At least 6 months' experience as a Care Assistant or similar role, or transferable skills from another industry.
- A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
