Talent & Employer Branding Specialist - Fixed Term Contract

Overview

At WD-40 Company, we're passionate about attracting and retaining top talent who share our values and drive our success. As a Talent & Employer Branding Specialist, you'll play a key role in showcasing our company culture and building a robust talent pipeline in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition and employer branding strategies to attract and select top talent for our current and future needs.
  • Implement and maintain regionalized talent acquisition strategies, activities, and metrics to ensure alignment with global strategies.
  • Source, attract, screen, and assess candidates for open positions in the UK and Ireland, and support local HR partners in the process.
  • Manage the WD-40 Company careers site in Europe, develop and coordinate the efforts of others to create a robust talent pipeline, and support global employer brand initiatives.
  • Champion the development and maintenance of employment branding activities on all relevant platforms, including digital and social media, to amplify our employment brand.
  • Support recruitment scheduling, candidate evaluation, candidate communication, employment offers, and document management.
  • Responsible for the application, delivery, and maintenance of talent acquisition methods and candidate evaluation tools, including applicant tracking systems and pipeline development.
  • Conduct, facilitate, and guide leaders on effective interview and selection planning and techniques, as well as best practices in negotiating and closing strategies.
  • Manage employer brand and implement brand plans within brand guidelines, and analyze and report on employer brand effectiveness to the business.
  • Guide local markets to ensure the right channel and communication are used to represent the employer branding.
  • Content Creation: Write drafts and edit content in line with organizational style guidelines to format and publish information on websites and in print.
  • Manage WD-40 Company career website analytics and social media optimization to maintain visibility to prospective candidate segments.

Requirements

  • Ongoing professional education in the field of talent acquisition, HR, business, digital, communication, or related subjects.
  • Formal education or knowledge equivalent to an Associate degree or bachelor's degree in business, HR, psychology, or communications, or related field, preferred.
  • 3+ years demonstrated contributions across all HR functional areas.
  • Require proficiency in spoken and written English.
