Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our team at Windsor Forest Colleges. This part-time position is expected to last until the end of the academic year in July, working on a 0.32 FTE basis.

The ideal candidate will have an appropriate degree, an endorsed teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards it, and Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.

Apart from teaching the Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care curriculum, the successful candidate will be responsible for regularly assessing student progress, preparing progress reports, and providing accurate and timely data and information.

This role also requires maintaining student morale and discipline both inside and outside the classroom, keeping up to date with curriculum development and assessment requirements, and working effectively within a team to devise and maintain teaching strategies.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience in teaching BTEC Health & Social Care and providing pastoral support, preferably to students aged 16-18.
