Intervention Support Specialist

The Opportunity
As an experienced educator, you will create and deliver tailored lessons to bridge learning gaps and boost engagement and attainment levels for pupils at secondary school age. This role is ideal for a dedicated teaching professional looking to offer more personalized, enjoyable lessons.
We have pupils requiring support with most pupils working up to foundation level. The confidence levels of some pupils may be very low, and it is your responsibility to reengage them in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.
We will work closely with you to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
Position Details:
Location - Within the community or pupils' home in a local area
Position - 1:1 Education Coordinator
Type of work - Contract
Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
Contract type - Temporary
Full-time/part-time - Part time (15 hours per week, per student)
Minimum rate of pay - £25 per hour
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent
Possess UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
