We are seeking a skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Look Ahead Care, Support and Housing. As a leading provider of social care services, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers individuals to thrive.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,960 per annum, based on the national average cost of living in the UK. This figure may vary depending on location and other factors.

As a Care and Support Specialist, you will provide essential support to customers, helping them develop life skills and promote independent living. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering all aspects of support to enable customers to develop independent living skills
  • Supporting customers with domestic tasks, including practical assistance where needed
  • Participating in support planning and risk management
  • Carrying out security duties to ensure customer and premises safety
  • Monitoring CCTV throughout shifts

You will also have opportunities to enable customers to make full use of community facilities, accompany them to appointments and meetings, and participate in team meetings and reviews.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in the charity/social care sector
  • Relevant specialism experience
