Rural School Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Headteacher to lead our rural primary school in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council area. As the head, you will be responsible for creating a culture of high expectations, where children develop their talents and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the school in achieving its goals and objectives, ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality education.
  • Develop and implement a vision for the school, working closely with teachers, staff, parents, and governors to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Manage the school's curriculum, ensuring that it is broad, balanced, and relevant to the needs of all pupils.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A creative, reflective, and inspirational leader who has children's learning and emotional well-being at the heart of every decision.
  • An outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of improving pupil outcomes, particularly in writing skills.
  • Able to act as a role model, with a minimum teaching commitment of up to 0.3.
  • A commitment to providing a comprehensive induction package for new staff.
  • Able to build excellent relationships with children, staff, parents, governors, and the wider community, promoting a sustainable future for the school.
Salary

An estimated salary range of £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
