Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Governance and Leadership Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of Health and Social Care Partnership Services, aligning with corporate objectives and providing strategic direction and leadership.

The role entails providing comprehensive managerial and leadership support to the North H&SCP Management Team and Integrated Joint Board, ensuring their efficient operation in accordance with the North H&SCP Scheme of Establishment.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing service delivery plans for the Board and its standing committees, facilitating seamless communication and information exchange between the partnership, its committees, and senior management governance structures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • In-depth professional knowledge in corporate governance, information systems, staff management.
  • Strong evidence of knowledge and understanding of best practice in corporate governance, Scottish Government NHS policy and procedures.
  • Degree qualification and relevant postgraduate qualification.
Benefits

This fixed-term role offers a unique opportunity to work with NHS Scotland, contributing to the development of our healthcare services. The working pattern is Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00, based at Kirklands, Bothwell.
