About the Role


We are currently recruiting a Family Liaison Support Specialist to join our Thrive programme in Buckinghamshire.


The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience of working with or volunteering with families, carers, or children, and have a good level of knowledge of some of the issues that can affect everyday life, such as mental health, anxiety, depression, and the difficulties faced by parents/carers of children with behavioural issues.


As a Family Liaison Support Specialist, you will build positive relationships with families, provide individualised support, advice, and practical help, enabling them to strengthen their capacity and capability to create stability for themselves and their children.


You will be supporting people with a variety of needs which may include substance dependency, domestic violence, learning difficulties, social exclusion, or lack of parenting skills. The post is mainly based in Aylesbury, however, some travel across Buckinghamshire may be required on occasion.

You should be a good listener, supportive, and willing to go that extra mile. It is essential to have a driver's licence and access to a vehicle.

Salary Details


The salary for this role is between £24,397- £26,649 per annum, dependent on experience.


Contract Information


This is a permanent full-time position, with 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, the service is delivered flexibly between the hours of 07.30 – 17.30.
