Homecare Invoicing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and organized Homecare Invoicing Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Pharmacy Homecare department, you will play a vital role in processing invoices related to outsourced homecare services that provide pharmacy supplies direct to patients' homes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of work related to the procurement of homecare services are processed efficiently and accurately. This includes chasing outstanding credits with suppliers, maintaining databases, and resolving discrepancies between invoices and contract prices.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn and take on new tasks. If you have basic skills in using MS Office products, good literacy and numeracy skills, and the ability to work independently, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Chasing outstanding credits with suppliers
- Maintaining databases and updating records
- Resolving discrepancies between invoices and contract prices
- Raising purchase orders against invoices received for homecare goods
- Liaising with the Clinical Pharmacy team regarding legibility of prescriptions or potential errors in prescribing
- Clearing the system of long-standing invoices using appropriate coding
We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, can work methodically and reliably, and is self-motivated. Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata
