Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team at a specialist school based just outside of Yeovil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception facility, answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support
  • Maintain school records and ensure accurate data management
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Use information management systems and strong IT skills, including recent knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and visitors
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve school goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to show reliability and meet key deadlines
  • Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
