Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team at a specialist school based just outside of Yeovil. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception facility, answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support
  • Maintain school records
  • Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills including recent knowledge of MS Office 365
  • A high level of verbal and written communication standards and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
  • Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
