Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at an outstanding SEN school in Hillingdon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to address individual students' goals and objectives.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to student support.
- Delivering engaging therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based techniques and resources.
- Monitoring and evaluating students' progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
- Providing consultation and training to teachers and support staff, fostering a whole-school approach to communication development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) with relevant experience (SEN experience preferred).
- Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
