About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Bradford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of care professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Foster a culture of consultation and collaboration with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure their voices are heard and valued.
  • Allocate key workers to each young person, ensuring their individual needs are met and their care plans are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of care and safety, ensuring our home meets the highest regulatory requirements.
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a fair and transparent manner, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the welfare and well-being of our young people.
  • Participate in regular care planning and review meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to start within 6 months of employment.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior and provide a safe and supportive environment for our young people.
  • Full UK driving license.
