About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at SSP Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading by example in a fast-paced environment, driving excellence in customer service and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the unit's opening and closing, ensuring operational efficiency and adhering to guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and support colleagues, maintaining a safe working and dining environment, and being the go-to person for day-to-day queries.
  • Customer Service: Create a clean, welcoming atmosphere that surpasses customer expectations, consistently aiming to improve service.
  • Performance Management: Focus on operational efficiency, staying informed about unit performance, and championing improvements and simplifications.
  • Employee Engagement: Recognize and celebrate exceptional service within the team, leading by example, promoting inclusivity and motivation.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor in a hospitality or retail role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
