Pricing Manager Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at MBN Solutions. As a Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our pricing strategy and ensuring technical pricing excellence across our consumer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute consumer pricing strategies to drive profitability upwards.
  • Provide oversight to delivery and growth plans, challenging the norm where necessary to ensure excellence.
  • Analyse FCA regulatory pricing changes and liaise with regulatory bodies as required, ensuring compliance and appropriate response to pricing complaints.
  • Utilize actuarial modeling techniques to support risk-based pricing strategies and ensure correct implementation.
  • Develop forecasting models and lead the Product & Pricing Forum, translating outcomes into actionable insights.
  • Manage and develop a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance and support to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Extensive pricing experience with expertise in insurance, finance or banking.
  • Experience with predictive/statistical modeling.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of pricing and analytical techniques.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with statistical modeling software such as Emblem, R, or Python is advantageous.
  • Strong delivery and leadership experience with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
