Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to support our mental health services in Seaham. The post holder will have contact with service users and members of the public, playing a crucial role in maintaining efficient services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contacting patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals via phone or email to gather information and provide updates.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including patient data, appointment schedules, and treatment plans.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Handling financial transactions, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve shared objectives, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Person Specification:
  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills, achieved through obtaining a minimum of a Level 2 or O-Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9).

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an administrative environment, managing diaries, filing systems, meetings, minutes, data input, and presenting information.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with confidentiality laws and associated policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to comprehend complex information.

Salary and Benefits:
