Job Description

Salt Recruitment's Public Sector Technology Contract Team is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a leading Central Government organisation. This role presents a unique chance to design and implement solutions that enhance team productivity and efficiency.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Define Objectives: Establish clear project objectives and ensure team alignment.
  • Implement Agile Methodologies: Leverage Agile practices to foster flexibility and accountability within the team.
  • Enhance Communication Channels: Promote open communication to facilitate swift issue resolution and effective collaboration.
  • Track Progress: Utilise tools like Jira to monitor tasks, deadlines, and overall progress.
  • Drive Improvement: Foster continuous improvement through regular feedback and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, preferably within Central Government or similar environments.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Jira.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and stakeholders alike.
  • Ability to implement solutions addressing complex business challenges and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Active SC Clearance is a strict requirement.

What We Offer:
  • Estimated salary: £500 per day.
  • Contract runs until August 2025.
  • Primarily based in Devon, requiring attendance 3-4 days a month.
