Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housing Management Assistant to join our team at the Highland Council. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our housing services, ensuring the smooth operation of our frontline housing service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the housing team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with lettings interviews, arrears management, and homelessness enquiries.
  • Support the team with housing applications, including processing and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and other external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housing policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
