An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-award-winning Mental Health Support Team as a CBT Therapist. This diverse role involves supporting a small caseload of children and young people, alongside assisting low-intensity CBT practitioners with Public Health England's Whole School Approach activities within designated education settings.
The Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) support children and young people aged 5-18 within school and college settings who present with mild to moderate mental health or emotional health problems.
This role offers a flexible working style, using a hybrid model to support education staff, children, young people, and their families both face-to-face and virtually.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of presenting difficulties for which CBT is clinically effective.
- Support a small caseload of children and young people.
- Assist low-intensity CBT practitioners with Public Health England's Whole School Approach activities.
- Postgraduate diploma in CBT and Accreditation with BABCP.
- Professional qualification as Clinical Psychologist, Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or psychological therapist.
- Clinical Supervision Training or significant supervisory experience.
