Role Overview

As a Hardware Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to clients in the maintenance and repair of their IT hardware devices. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and effective communication skills. You will work independently, but also collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Responsibilities

  • Attend all incidents/requests in a courteous and customer-focused manner
  • Monitor, update, and progress assigned incidents in a timely manner
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to junior field service engineers
  • Coordinate between clients and vendors to resolve problems efficiently
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in all work undertaken

Essential Skills

  • A valid UK driver's license and business insurance
  • Ability to demonstrate the right to work in the UK
  • Preparedness to undergo a BPSS check
  • Capability to resolve hardware issues and basic software problems
  • Ability to build and deploy PCs (desktop and laptop)
  • Good understanding of IT systems and environments
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset

Salary Range: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience
