Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Submarine System Security Engineer to join our Product Security Engineering (PSyE) team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering secure submarine systems, working closely with our team of experts to design, build, and maintain secure products.

About the Role

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent placement. You will be responsible for providing advice on Product Security matters to stakeholders, including system engineers, engineering managers, and technical authorities. You will also be responsible for gaining sufficient understanding of a system's concept of use and architectures to provide accurate assessments of Product Security risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to other Product Security engineers and support the management and planning of specialist activities.
  • Assist with or recommends secure configurations of product systems to ensure compliance with the intended architectures.
  • Contribute to the development of Product Security strategies, policies, guidance, good practices, and awareness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of applying secure configurations/cyber resilience to applicable technologies within the environment and during system development.
  • Supports and contributes to information security professional bodies and industry forums.
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security related.

Estimated salary: £83,410 per annum. This role is based in the UK, with opportunities for remote work. We offer a competitive package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
