The Morson Talent team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join their Product Security Engineering (PSyE) team in the UK. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work on challenging projects, develop your expertise, and contribute to the delivery of secure submarine systems.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced security professional with a deep understanding of information security principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining secure products, as well as experience working in CNI domains such as defence, maritime, utilities, and nuclear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice on Product Security matters to stakeholders, including system engineers, engineering managers, and technical authorities.
  • Gain sufficient understanding of a system's concept of use and architectures to provide accurate assessments of Product Security risks.
  • Recommend and propose suitable system architectures or controls to mitigate risks in line with government and MOD policies and good practice.
Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security related.
  • Holds and maintains relevant cyber security qualifications, such as CISSP or former NCSC CCP.
  • Experience of Product Security Engineering activities in CNI domains.

Estimated salary: £83,410 per annum. This role is based in the UK, with opportunities for remote work. We offer a competitive package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
