About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Combat Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of advanced Sonar Systems for our Submarine Build Program.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • You will work closely with the Engineering Lead or Engineering Manager to develop comprehensive system design for Sonar Systems and Products.
  • You will oversee the day-to-day management of the design process throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to acceptance, installation, and integration.
  • You will lead efforts in requirements definition, integration, verification and validation (V&V), architecture, and modelling.
  • You will assist in developing and managing Combat Systems requirements and ensuring thorough verification.
  • You will ensure design validation is well-documented, tracked in requirements management tools, and approved by the relevant authority.
  • You will review supplier-produced documentation, ensuring it is correctly filed within the Document Management System and logged in the Project Register.
