Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Scawsby Saltersgate Infant School. The successful candidate will work closely with families, parents, carers, and children to provide support and empower them to access services and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with families to identify and address barriers to learning and participation
  • Provide non-judgmental support and guidance to families to help them access services and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, parents, carers, and children to build trust and confidence
  • Collaborate with the office team to manage attendance procedures and provide administrative support
  • Provide high-quality front-of-house service to parents, carers, and visitors
Requirements
  • Good communication skills and ability to react clearly and quickly to children's and families' needs
  • Patience and understanding when working with families and children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attendance record and ability to work flexible hours
