Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at Doncaster Council. The successful candidate will work closely with families, parents, and carers to provide support and guidance, empowering them to access services and opportunities that promote positive outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, parents, and carers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to families to access services and opportunities that promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Work closely with the office team to ensure efficient administrative procedures and manage attendance procedures.
  • Provide high-quality front-of-house service to parents, carers, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Good attendance record.
  • Patient and understanding approach.
  • Ability to react clearly and quickly to children's and families' needs.
  • Good communication skills.
