Job Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Tutor to join our team at Itec Skills and Employment. As a Youth Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering training sessions to young people, using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support, and motivate learners to enhance their skills and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to young people, incorporating differentiated teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience.
  • Plan and support learners in their individual learning journeys, helping them to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion.
  • Develop creative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with young people and a passion for making a positive impact.
  • Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style.
  • Qualified or willing to work towards CAVA qualification or equivalent qualifications.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
