We are assisting our legal client in recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team at their offices in Haywards Heath. This role is available due to continued expansion within the department and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Invoicing and payment processing
- Receiving, checking, and paying consultant invoices
- Paying supplier invoices through the portal
- Setting up CTO Transfers
- Assigning funds received to matters in the portal
- Operating the case management system
- Liaising with consultant solicitors and retained team members
- Dealing with client queries and managing outstanding debts
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to Accounts rules and VAT regulations
- Staying up-to-date with new rules and regulations
- Following the file closing process to ensure client files are handled correctly
- Experience in the legal sector
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
