Rail Plant Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Rail Plant Technical Lead to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance on Rail Plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and draft Technical Work scopes for all Rail Plant renewals planned to commence within the CP4 programme.
- Provide detailed input for compilation of the business plan and production of programme / project plans.
- Liaise with specialist engineers for Rail Plant and equipment technical and compliance requirements.
- Monitor design and specialist consultants and contractors.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan.
- Identify and monitor risks, plan and implement mitigations to them, and respond to other issues that may affect Rail Plant renewals.
- Carry out the duties of designated project engineer (DPE) if required.
- Extensive experience in the Rail industry dealing with Plant and/or Rail Vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to develop and author technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A competitive salary up to £516 per day.
