Job Title: Nursing Home Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to join our team at Domus Recruitment Ltd. As a Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of a 15-bedded Nursing and Residential Home for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Home, ensuring high standards of care and quality of service.
  • Staff Management: Manage and lead a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the efficient operation of the Nursing Home.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the Nursing Home meets the required standards of care and quality, as set by regulatory bodies.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the Nursing Home complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with external healthcare professionals, regional directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and hold a relevant qualification in management, such as NVQ Level 4 or 5.
  • Experience: At least 1 year's experience in managing a Nursing Home or similar setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage teams and improve services.
  • Clinical Skills: Possess clinical skills and experience working with elderly and dementia patients.
  • Financial Management: Ability to manage budgets and financial resources.
