Job Title: Mental Health Support Specialist
Location: Inverness, Scotland
Salary: £13.70-£19.89 per hour, depending on shift and role
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialists to join our team in Inverness. As a valued member of our team, you will provide vital support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. You will assist clients with daily tasks, manage and respond to challenging behaviours, provide critical support during times of crisis, and empower clients to live as independently as possible.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
- The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
- The right to work in the UK
- This position requires applicants to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges is preferred but not essential
- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
