About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Wärtsilä Defence Solutions Limited (WDSL). As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in executing against customer enquiries for quotations and proposals in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and well-written quotations and proposals in response to customer enquiries, meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including design engineering, finance, purchasing, and production teams, as well as external partners and customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and progress negotiations through to order stage, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Utilize relevant software, such as Excel, Word, and SAP, to manage and analyze data, and provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve and exceed customer service KPIs, ensuring all procedures and work processes comply with audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to present and facilitate meetings.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding customer service targets.
