About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Medical and Frailty Same Day Emergency Care team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients using observations and relevant safety tools.
  • Meet hygiene and dietary needs of patients.
  • Work alongside nurses and within scope of practice.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping on the unit.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Use computer systems to input patient care and request relevant items within scope of practice.

Person Specification

  • Demonstrate a commitment to a caring profession.
  • Understand the importance of record keeping.
