We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Counsellor to join our team at Balerno Learning Community in Edinburgh. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to children and young people, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one counselling sessions to children and young people, using evidence-based approaches to support their mental health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement mental health strategies and interventions.
- Engage with the wider school community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues, and to provide training and support to staff and students.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of mental health programs and services, working closely with colleagues and external partners.
