Counsellor on Placement

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions.

- The opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools nationwide.
- Recognition of clinical hours gained on placement towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP.
- A chance to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About You
We are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or someone studying towards one of these professions. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.

Training Availability
Please note that you will need to attend two mandatory trainings if you are offered a placement. These include a Safeguarding Induction and a Placement Introductory Workshop.
