About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Counsellor to join our team at Place2Be. As a key member of our school-based counselling team, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating referrals, supporting and overseeing the work of our Counsellors on Placement, and shaping the clinical delivery of our services within the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate referrals to ensure the best outcomes for our young people
  • Support and oversee the work of our Counsellors on Placement, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality therapeutic work
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve the delivery of our services within the school
  • Collaborate with our school partners to ensure seamless integration of our services
  • Contribute to the development of our team's clinical thinking, knowledge, and learning
About You

We are looking for a qualified therapist/counsellor with a minimum of one year's experience in the profession. You will have a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
