About this Role

Protocol Education are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join their team as a Behavioural Support Assistant. This role involves supporting students with challenging behaviours, working closely with staff to develop and implement behaviour plans, and providing a positive and supportive environment for students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with challenging behaviours on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings
  • Working closely with staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Providing a positive and supportive environment for students to develop relationships and improve behaviour
  • Collaborating with staff to reinforce positivity and improve student attainment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviours
  • Patience, kindness, and fairness when working with students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
