About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Facilities Manager to join our team at Pin Point Recruitment. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our school buildings and grounds are well-maintained, secure, and fully functional.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and decoration works
  • Ensure security integrity of the school buildings and grounds through locking and unlocking, patrols, and monitoring
  • Carry out defined Planned Preventative Maintenance responsibilities in accordance with each school's schedule and individual's skills
  • Respond to emergency situations such as floods, bodily fluids, and effecting temporary or permanent rectification in accordance with prescribed procedures and timescales
  • Conduct regular checks of boilers, hot water functioning, pest inspections, drains, gullies for blockages, and plant rooms
  • Perform day-to-day duties such as litter picking, bin emptying, sweeping, and refreshing toilets

Key Requirements:

  • A range of general handyman skills, including general DIY skills, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
  • Good customer service skills
  • An amenable and approachable personality
  • The ability to liaise with and assist external service providers
  • The ability to work in a team
