About the Role:

The Community Mental Health Specialist will play a key role in providing assessment, treatment, and support to individuals aged 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing recovery-focused care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to reduce the risk of relapse and enhance functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients using tools such as CAARMS and develop personalized care plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
  3. Provide education, emotional support, and practical advice to families and carers to help them understand psychosis and the recovery process.
Requirements:

Essential:
  • Registered mental health nurse or social worker with a minimum of 2 years post-registration clinical experience.
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
