Job Description

As a Customer Technical Support Team Lead at Motorola Solutions, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving technical excellence in our managed service, customer-interfacing role. This exciting opportunity combines technical and client relationship skills to successfully implement and support our product range.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the Customer Support Team.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing complaints, inquiries, and issues.
  • Escalate complex issues and provide technical support and guidance.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide user support and training.
  • Monitor issue resolution status and duration, owning issues on behalf of the customer.
  • Update technical manuals and reference guides with recent product updates and developments.
  • Continuously acquire necessary product expertise and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and meetings to develop business networking and references.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and deliver customer professional services.
Requirements:
  • Recent team lead experience, with a proven track record of driving high team standards.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a technical team, communicating goals and deadlines, and assisting with daily operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a good understanding of networking, including switches, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of PC and other hardware troubleshooting skills, with experience of technical support.
  • Driver's license and ability to obtain specific security clearances.
