Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a key player in our managed service, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring their products are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving complaints, inquiries, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide remote break/fix support, updating tickets within the customer Service Level Agreement.
- Travel to customer sites to provide on-site support, ensuring products are installed and configured correctly.
- Escalate technical issues to senior engineers, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
- Monitor issue resolution status, owning issues on behalf of the customer and ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and deliver training programs to customers on product operation and maintenance procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with product updates and developments, updating technical manuals and reference guides accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and meetings to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong Microsoft Windows Server skills, with experience in storage fundamentals, cloud technologies, and networking.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of PC and other hardware troubleshooting skills, with experience in IT technical support.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
