Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of plans for nuclear programmes and projects, ensuring they are aligned with the programme's scope, logic, and interfaces.
  • Assist in the creation of future plans, aligning them with existing plans and ensuring the latest approved timeframes are incorporated.
  • Monitor plans through liaison with stakeholders and concerned parties, providing ongoing updates and progress reports.
  • Develop and implement change management processes for approved items and what-if scenarios, as requested by the Project Manager or Commercial Management Office Lead.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to show progress, variances, and resource curves for the plans.
  • Create one-off plans as required and identified by the Commercial Management Office Lead or nominated deputy.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure alignment with the latest best practices, processes, and procedures in line with Nuclear Subject Matter Experts' knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
  • Strong experience delivering projects using the NEC suite of contracts.
  • Experienced in using P6.

Desirable:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Nuclear industry or complex infrastructure, with good communication skills.
  • Core knowledge of Cost, Commercial, Estimating, Planning, Risk, and Reporting disciplines in a Project/Programme lifecycle.
  • Experience in reviewing and understanding the consequences of Cost, Time, and Risk outputs, such as Critical Path Analysis, Monthly Cost and Commercial reporting, and Risk reviews.
  • Ability to deputise for fellow Planners and Controls Line Manager on planning issues.
