HR Generalist

We're seeking a highly skilled HR Adviser to join our team at North Lakes Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in driving forward our HR activities and supporting the General Manager, Senior Leadership Team, and Head of Departments.
Key Responsibilities- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to support our business goals
- Support managers in effective recruitment and talent management, ensuring our new team members are recruited based on our core values
- Develop and implement onboarding and induction programs to ensure a warm and supportive welcome for new team members
- Manage payroll processes, including weekly and monthly payroll, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members and managers
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management
- Collaborate with the People Team to manage absence cases and provide support to managers and employees
- Produce people metrics and updates for Quarterly People Reviews, highlighting trends and recommending solution-focused actions
- Support the General Manager and HoDs with payroll forecasting and actuals, reviewing rotas against sales forecast and actuals to inform payroll management
We're looking for an experienced HR Adviser with at least 2 years' experience in an HR role, preferably with a CIPD Level 5 qualification. You should have experience in mentoring and coaching, and ideally be Mental Health First Aid trained.
