As the Head of Events at Mecca Bingo, you will be responsible for creating and owning the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50+ venues. You will build a strong portfolio of 3rd party events providers who work with us to deliver the highest quality events possible, staying up to date with current trends to ensure we maximize every event opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and own the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50+ venues.
  • Build a strong portfolio of 3rd party events providers who work with us to deliver the highest quality events possible.
  • Responsible for negotiation of terms, contracts and tours with 3rd party agencies, as well as prospecting for new and upcoming talent.
  • Owning the relationship between support office and our Operational Regional Managers, General Managers and Assistant Managers, to ensure the best collaboration.
  • Working with the wider Marketing team (including Acquisition, PR & Social, Brand, Digital and CRM) to maximize event revenue; to deliver budgeted profit for Mecca Events.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event & production sector, preferably with a focus on supporting third-party events.
  • Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing to effectively promote tours and events.
  • Strong Leadership, organisational and planning skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals and lead your Team to deliver the events strategy.
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to produce senior stakeholder reporting and projections in conjunction with the finance teams.
