About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Entertainment and Events to join our team at ClickJobs. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events across our 50+ locations in the UK, ensuring our customer experience is second to none.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning and Execution: Create and own the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50+ venues.
  2. Third-Party Partnerships: Build a strong portfolio of 3rd party events providers who work with us to deliver the highest quality events possible, ensuring we stay up to date with current trends to maximize every event opportunity.
  3. Contract Negotiation and Talent Acquisition: Responsible for negotiation of terms, contracts, and tours with 3rd party agencies, as well as prospecting for new and upcoming talent.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Own the relationship between support office and our Operational Regional Managers, General Managers, and Assistant Managers, to ensure the best collaboration.
  5. Marketing and Revenue Growth: Work with the wider Marketing team (including Acquisition, PR & Social, Brand, Digital, and CRM) to maximize event revenue; to deliver budgeted profit for Mecca Events.
  6. Customer Experience: Ensure the customer journeys for all marketing activity, sales, promotion, and the execution of events meet the standards required for the business.

Requirements:

  1. Event and Production Experience: Proven experience in event & production sector, preferably with a focus on supporting third-party events.
  2. Sales and Marketing Understanding: Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing to effectively promote tours and events.
  3. Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong Leadership, organizational and planning skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals and lead your team to deliver the events strategy.
  4. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, able to produce senior stakeholder reporting and projections in conjunction with the finance teams.
