As the Head of Entertainment and Events at Mecca Bingo, you will be responsible for creating and owning the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50+ venues. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and own the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50+ venues.
  • Build a strong portfolio of 3rd party events providers who work with us to deliver the highest quality events possible.
  • Responsible for negotiation of terms, contracts and tours with 3rd party agencies, as well as prospecting for new and upcoming talent.
  • Owning the relationship between support office and our Operational Regional Managers, General Managers and Assistant Managers, to ensure the best collaboration.
  • Working with the wider Marketing team (including Acquisition, PR & Social, Brand, Digital and CRM) to maximize event revenue; to deliver budgeted profit for Mecca Events.
  • Ensuring the customer journeys for all marketing activity, sales, promotion and the execution of events meet the standards required for the business.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event & production sector, preferably with a focus on supporting third-party events.
  • Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing to effectively promote tours and events.
  • Strong Leadership, organisational and planning skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals and lead your Team to deliver the events strategy.
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to produce senior stakeholder reporting and projections in conjunction with the finance teams.
  • Passionate about delivering new customer experiences with a focus on customer satisfaction, committed to providing an unrivalled customer experience.
  • Strong team player who inspires excitement and fosters an environment of achievement.
  • Willingness to collaborate with others to develop new ideas and concepts.
