Norwich University of the Arts is seeking an experienced individual to join its governing body as an Independent Governor. As a key member of the Council, you will contribute to shaping the University's vision, mission and strategy.

Your primary duties will include acting as a Governor of the University, engaging in the business of the Council and participating in relevant Committees. You will work closely with the Executive Team and other stakeholders to ensure the effective governance of the institution.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess specialist knowledge and skills, such as those related to higher education, commercial enterprise or professional domains. Experience in estates management, financial management or business leadership/enterprise would be highly valued.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their impartiality and ability to make informed decisions. They will also be skilled communicators, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Norwich University of the Arts and shape its future direction. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £9,500, based on industry standards and the company's size.
