Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to support the commercialization of our medical device solutions in the UK provider market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial and business development strategies that drive profitable revenue growth and market expansion within the respiratory healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets in the respiratory healthcare market.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships with the NHS, independent healthcare providers, and other associated commercial organizations.
- Develop commercial proposals and negotiation strategies for customers and partners to secure sustainable, scalable, and profitable contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate and participate in the mobilization of new contracts, ensuring customers are appropriately trained and using TidalSense products and services to maximize utilization post-deployment.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of commercial objectives.
- Monitor and manage commercial Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) within agreed financial metrics, using data-derived insights to inform commercial decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure business operations adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of the UK healthcare market, including pricing strategies and NHS reimbursement routes.
- Change management experience, with a proven track record of defining and developing a market, changing behaviors, and long-standing clinical practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to compliance and corporate governance.
- Comprehensive understanding of the UK regulatory environment relating to the sale and marketing of regulated medical devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas and professionally represent TidalSense with a variety of senior stakeholders.
- The ability to understand and present medical and scientific content.
