About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Fixed Term Specialist Speech Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with adults with acquired and progressive neurological disorders, providing specialist services in voice and dysphagia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with swallowing and communication disorders, including voice problems, in an outpatient setting and in the community.
  • Work closely with the Care Home Support Team and other multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and deliver training to care home staff and other health professionals on swallowing difficulties.
  • Provide student placements and supervise more junior therapists.
Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with:

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice.Recognised qualification in dysphagia or completion of Competencies in this field to RCSLT level C or equivalent.What We Offer
