We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Fixed Term Specialist Speech Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with adults with acquired and progressive neurological disorders, providing specialist speech and language therapy services in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to adults with acquired and progressive neurological disorders in out-patient and community settings.
- Work closely with the Care Home Support Team to provide domiciliary visits and out-patient appointments.
- Develop and deliver training to care home staff and other health professionals on swallowing difficulties.
- Contribute to service development in SLT services within the areas of voice, dysphagia, and older people services.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with:
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
- Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice.
- Recognised qualification in dysphagia or completion of Competencies in this field to RCSLT level C or equivalent.
