Ward Administrator and Liaison Officer

As a key member of the Puffin Ward Transformation Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients, relatives, and carers.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive reception service, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all visitors.
You will work closely with healthcare professionals and other disciplines to facilitate patient treatment and record data accurately using information technology systems.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis role requires close liaison with other teams, providing a courteous, reliable, and quality consumer service.
You will be responsible for utilizing hospital computer systems to capture and update necessary data, and to use case note tracing systems to accurately record paper-based health records.
In addition, you will be expected to work flexibly, prioritizing workload and adapting to changing situations.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
A friendly, welcoming smile and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will often be the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, content with working in a busy environment, and has good time management skills.
Experience with healthcare IT systems and recent receptionist experience are highly desirable.
